Tony Khan confirms William Regal is leaving AEW, Note about Rampage

Speaking on the ROH Final Battle media call ON Wednesday, Tony Khan confirmed William Regal would be departing AEW by the end of the year. He said that Regal asked Khan not to pick up his contract option at the end of the year. Khan also revealed his mom had suffered stroke between All Out and Grand Slam and then suffered another stroke in October.

Khan also said that he has plans to step up Rampage with stronger matches to increase the declining ratings.

Update on Miro

According to Fightful Select AEW sources have reiterated Miro is and has been completely healthy, and he wants to actively compete. It was also said, that there is currently nothing creatively for him at the present time. Miro not competed in AEW since teaming with Sting and Darby Allin in a win against House of Black at the All Out PPV back on September 4.

AEW announced during Wednesday night on Dynamite the company will will debut in Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada on Tuesday 3/14/23 at the Canada Life Center.

Tickets will go on sale next Friday 12/16.
