Stephen P. New, the lawyer for CM Punk and Ace Steel confirmed during in appearance on the latest Rip Rogers podcast, that Punk and Steel are under non-disclosure agreements (NDA’s) for life as it pertains to the backstage fight at the 2022 All Out pay-per-view.
New said that the only person that is not subject to a non-disclosure agreement is Steel’s wife Lucy. New also said that Punk and Steel are “two of the most stand up guys that you’ll ever meet in any walk of life let alone the sport of professional wrestling” and that he will always be there for Punk and Steel.
Punk was suspended as a result of the fight. After recovering from a torn pectoral muscle he sustained at All and his suspension being lifted, he returned for the debut episode of AEW Collision back on June 17. Steel was terminated from AEW following the backstage fight. He would later be brought as a producer, but only working remotely. However, at the All In PPV in London after Jack Perry and Punk had a backstage altercation, Steel was let go. Steel has recently done work as a producer for IMPACT/TNA Wrestling, while Punk made his return to WWE back at Survivor Series last month.
