Mike Santana took to social media to give a statement following his departure from AEW.
Speaking on five years “full of ups and downs,” Santana shows his appreciation for being a part of the company from the start before putting his focus on the future ahead of him.
He wraps up the statement with a round of thanks to many people including AEW, the fans, and Ortiz, the latter being at one point a close friend during their time as a tag team.
Santana’s last match for the company was in October 2023, but was only recently removed from the AEW roster as previously reported.
