Penta El Zero Miedo came to the ring during House of Glory’s Cinco de Mayo event, announcing that his brother and scheduled opponent Rey Fenix was not medically cleared to compete.
Laredo Kid would take the place of the former AEW International Champion, facing Penta in the main event instead.
The news comes after Fenix made his AEW return on the 4/27 edition of AEW Collision, facing The Beast Mortos in his first match since October 2023.
