Following Wednesday’s Dynamite at the Viejas Arena in San Diego, California, AEW taped a special 2 1/2 hour episode of Collision, which airs Thursday night on TNT and HBO Max.
Below are the spoilers, courtesy of F4WOnline:
- Death Riders def. Shingo Takagi and Drilla Moloney. Claudio pinned Takagi after interference from Daniel Garcia.
- World Trios Champions – The Conglomeration cut a promo. Orange Cassidy said because of Mark Briscoes injuries from the world title match with MJF, he did not know when he would be back – but that Willow would be back soon. Takeshita then appeared and hyped up his match with Kyle Fletcher for the Beach Break episode of Dynamite.
- Andrade El Idolo def. Brian Cage. He cut a short promo after the match, addressing Don Callis. Andrade ended the promo with his catchphrase.
- Divine Dominion cut a promo. They asked another CMLL luchadora to stand up to them.
- 8-Man Tag Team Match saw Adam Copeland and the Bang Bang Gang def. Shane Taylor Promotions. After the match, both The Dogs and Death Riders jumped Copeland and the Bang Bang Gang, laying them out.
- Thunder Rosa & Mina Shirakawa def. Zara Zakher and Becca
- The Demand def. local talents. Toa Liona got busted open under the eye. Ricochet cut a promo on Sydal and Skyflight.
- Thekla cut a promo with Starlight Kid’s mask. She said Stardom was dead; long live the Toxic Spider. She then briefly addressed the Casino Gauntlet that is next week on the Beach Break episode of Dynamite.
- Skyflight talked to Matt Sydal. He’s part of the group now.
- The Demand won. Toa Liona somehow got busted open under the eye. Ricochet cut a promo on Sydal and Skyflight.
- Athena def. Rina to secure the number one spot in the Casino Gauntlet Match
- Kyle Fletcher cut a promo, addressing both ELP and Konosuke Takeshita.
- Trios Match saw Bandido, Mistico and Speedball Mike Bailey def. The Rascals
- The Opps cut promo. Hook said Katsuyori Shibata would take down Bandido and win the ROH World Title.
- Rush def. Jordan Cruz
- Another promo from the Divine Dominion asking where all the teams have gone. They say they will all bow down.
- Maya World def. Julia Hart to earn the number two spot in the Women’s Casino Gauntlet Match
- Kyle Fletcher def. ELP (Final match for show). There was a spot early on in the match where both men fell off the turnbuckle by accident. It then took a while for the crowd to get back into it.
- Don Callis cut a promo addressing Konosuke Takeshita, saying that when he had found him, he was a nobody and he made him a star, his chosen one. Callis then called him a jealous little b—. Callis then said that Fletcher will take everything from him at the Beach Break episode of Dynamite on Wednesday.
- Callis’ promo brought out Takeshita. Callis then bailed to end the taping.
