After Adam Copeland and Christian Cage retained the AEW World Tag Team Championships over the Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson), at Sunday’s All In at Wembley Stadium in London, Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley) and FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) returned, to confront the tag champs.
The Motor City Machine Guns made their AEW debut back on the special live Thursday, July 30 episode of Collision in their hometown of Detroit, but had not appeared on AEW TV until All In. FTR dropped the tag team titles to Copeland and Cage back at the Double or Nothing PPV on May 24. FTR had noted this past June, they were going to take a break after being on the road for many years non-stop.
FTR defeated Cowboy Way (Thomas Shire and 1 Called Manders) at the RevPro 14th Anniversary show at the OVO Wembley Arena to become the new Undisputed British Tag Team Champions.
