A new report from Fightful Select has provided some new insight on the process behind Britt Baker making her return to AEW.
The former AEW Women’s World Champion appeared during the All In Buy In, helping Persephone defeat Maya World for the TBS Championship.
Baker was reportedly still home in Florida as late as the Friday before the event at Wembley Stadium, with things beginning to take shape the following day after word started circulating backstage that she could be involved.
It was further noted that Baker did not arrive in London until the morning of the show, arriving at the venue after the scheduled talent call time.
Discussions around her return are said to have picked up considerably after the Rebel Heart edition of Dynamite was announced, given her connections with the talent and I AM ALS ambassador Rebel.
Baker thanked fans on social media for their support following her return to the company.
