Following a match at the Rhodes Wrestling Association, Garrett Borden faced a two-on-one attack from The 8th Day until his brother Steven came out for the save.
This led to a challenge issued by the sons of Sting, which has been confirmed by Dustin Rhodes for the upcoming RWA Fall Fury event on November 8.
The event, emanating from Wild West Cedar Park in Cedar Park, Texas, marks the two-year anniversary of the promotion associated with the Rhodes Wrestling Academy.
The Borden brothers notably got the “wrestling bug” after assisting their father during the WWE Hall of Famer’s final match, a tag team bout with Darby Allin against the Young Bucks at AEW Revolution 2024.
Garrett has been gaining experience on the indies, while Steven recently signed with AEW with his first televised match taking place on Rebel Heart Dynamite.
