During an interview with TSN, Steve Maclin responded to a question about AEW by noting he wouldn’t rule out working for the company in the future:
Yeah, I’m always interested in that end of the world with AEW, especially with my wife there, but then a lot of my friends are also there – my best friend, Josh Alexander, you got the Rascalz [Myron Reed, Zachary Wentz and Dezmond Xavier] there now, too – a lot of TNA alumni, but there’s also a lot of the talent on the AEW roster I’ve been around a long time. There’s dream matchups for me, as well, and if that were to come to fruition and I ended up there, that would be awesome. I would love the opportunity to go out there on AEW Dynamite, Collision, Ring of Honor.
Maclin has been competing largely with Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling since his departure from TNA in June following a run that saw him old the TNA International and World Championship at different stages.
He is set to face Adam Copeland at MLP Northern Rising on October 3.
