Is it true that Wendi Richter was screwed by Vince like Bret Hart was?
It is unknown if it's a big rumor or if it is actually the truth. The story is that Wendi Richter was suppose to fight a jobber named Spider Lady for the Women's title on November 25, 1985 at Madison Square Garden. Before the card, Vince McMahon and Richter got into an argument over money and McMahon told Fabulous Moolah to play Spider Lady and put a small package on Richter and the referee would count to three for her. All went as planned, and Richter lost the match and never wrestled in the WWF again. It should be noted though, that many people in the wrestling business believe this to only be a rumor. But some people still do think that it actually happened.
