Lucha Libre World Cup Teams
AAA announced the rest of the teams for the upcoming Lucha World Cup. After originally not being announced as having a team Lucha Underground will have representatives on two teams. TNA is sending Drew Galloway to be a part of Team Rest of the World with AAA’s Angelico (South Africa) and El Mesais (Puerto Rico) while Matt Hardy and Mr. Anderson will be on a team with Lucha Underground’s Johnny Mundo. If there is a draw in the match there will be a 5-minute overtime period with each team choosing one member to have a singles match. The show will be held on iPPV in both English and Spanish, but no website or price was announced. Lucha Underground’s Vampiro and Matt Striker will handle English commentary. AAA/Lucha Underground Stars Going to CHIKARA

AAA Sending Talent to TNA
TNA’s Bob Ryder revealed that a luchador from AAA would be competing at TNA’s upcoming TV tapings and likely at the June “Slammiversary” PPV. This is part of a talent exchange that is also seeing TNA send talent for AAA’s Lucha World Cup. The luchador ended up being Argos, who is the younger brother of Myzteziz. He worked an elimination match that also featured Tigre Uno and Manik in it. It is unclear if Argos will stick around with TNA going forward or not, but he has not worked a AAA event since last summer. He has mostly been working Indy shows that his brothers appear on even teaming with Myzteziz on multiple occasions.

CMLL Loses Main TV Show
For the past couple of weeks CMLL’s main Friday night show on Fox Sports 2 has been off the air and is not on the schedule for coming weeks. CMLL has made no comment about the situation as is CMLL style, but this would be a big blow to CMLL’s TV product. They still have several hours of TV in both Mexico and America but Fox Sports 2 was their biggest show for the major matches at Arena Mexico on Friday nights.
