AEW World Tag Team Match on Rampage changed

The AEW World Tag Team Match that was originally scheduled to be The Lucha Brothers defending against FTR in a 2 out of 3 Falls match, has been changed.

It was announced during Wednesday night’s episode of Dynamite that Rey Fenix had to miss the Rampage taping due to travel issues. PAC was announced as the replacement for Fenix. The match will now be a non-title match with AAA World Tag Team Champions FTR vs. PAC and Penta El Zero M.

Previously announced for Rampage is Sammy Guevara defending the AEW TNT Championship against Tony Nese.

Also announced for Friday’s episode is Jade Cargill vs. Janai Kai on Rampage. In addition, Thunder Rosa will be on commentary. Rosa will square off against Cargill in an upcoming semi-finals match in the AEW TBS Title Tournament.

Rosa stated during Dynamite that AEW President Tony Khan had allowed her to select a Rampage match to do commentary on in place of Chris Jericho, who won’t be on due to attacked by Daniel Garcia and 2point0 in a backstage segment on Dynamite.

Rampage will also feature AAA World Tag Team Champions FTR taking on PAC and AEW World Tag Team Champion Penta El Zero M in a non-title match.
