The IInspiration reportedly turned down offer for spots in the 2022 WWE Women’s Royal Rumble

The IInspiration reportedly turned down offer to appear at upcoming WWE Women's Royal Rumble

According to reports from Fightful Select and F4WOnline, IMPACT Wrestling Knockouts Tag Team Champions Cassie Lee and Jessie McKay were offered spots in the upcoming Women’s Royal Rumble Match, but turned the offer down.

It is reportedly being said that an IMPACT Wrestling source said that the company would have approved the deal, but that Lee and McKay did not want to go back to WWE at this time.

Lee and McKay would have joined current Knockouts Champion Mickie James as IMPACT talents participating in the Royal Rumble had they accepted the offer.

The IInspiration signed with IMPACT last October, and debuted at the Bound For Glory pay-per-view, where they won the Knockouts Tag Team Championships. They wrestled as The IIconics during their time in WWE. They were both released by WWE in April 2021.
