Cash Wheeler reportedly expected to compete at AEW All In despite recent arrest

A report from Sports Illustrated has indicated that Cash Wheeler is still expected to compete at AEW All In, despite his arrest on Friday.

Wheeler was set for an arraignment on Friday in connection to a charge of aggravated assault with a firearm in an incident from July 28, in which he was alleged to have flashed a gun at the victim.

News broke fairly quickly that Wheeler could still be competing at the event, touted as being the “Biggest Wrestling Show of All Time” by marketing.

Today’s media call for the upcoming event seems to have further confirmed the matter as reported by Fightful.

When asked about the incident, Tony Khan responded:

“…I can’t comment on the specifics at this time because I still don’t know everything. We’re still learning facts. Based on the information we have at this time, we’re still keeping an eye on that situation. At this time, I think it’s a very inconclusive situation.”

Khan went on to state that he had not known of the incident for a long time, but has tried to gather facts and information.

AEW All In emanates from Wembley Stadium in London, England on Sunday, August 27, and can be viewed on traditional pay-per-view providers and Bleacher Report in the United States, as well as FITE and other providers internationally.
