Two matches announced for next week’s WWE Raw

Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Ricochet is set for next week’s episode of WWE Raw.

During this week’s episode in an in-ring segment, WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins called out Shinsuke Nakamura for a match. Instead of answering Rollins, Nakamura attacked Ricochet backstage. Nakamura then said that Rollins was not medically cleared to compete, so he chose to fight someone He noted that Rollins was not cleared to compete, so he chose to “fight already.” He closed by saying he would take Rollins’ title, but not this week.

Later in the show, it was announced that Nakamura and Ricochet would square off next week. Ricochet has been coming to the aid of Rollins in recent weeks.

Also announced for next week’s Raw is Jey Uso vs. Drew McIntyre. The match was set up during a backstage segment where McIntyre told Jey that he did not trust him. This will be the first time Jey returns to singles action since unsuccessfully capturing the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at SummerSlam back on August 5.

In storyline at the end of the August 11 episode of SmackDown, Jey took out Roman Reigns Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa. He then looked directly in the camera and said that he quit WWE, SmackDown and The Bloodline SmackDown, before walking off through the crowd.

Next week’s WWE Raw will air live on the USA Network, beginning at 8:00 pm ET and emanate from the Delta Center in Salt Lake City, Utah.
