WWE set to face tough competition for RAW due to MNF simulcast

In the midst of the ongoing SAG-AFTRA and WGA strikes, a report from The Hollywood Reporter has revealed that the remaining portion of regular-season games set to air on Monday Night Football on ESPN will be simulcast on the broadcast network ABC.

The season opener was simulcast on both channels on 9/11, and one half of a two-game slate will air in the same manner this week and next along with December 11.

This marks the first time in 17 years that the broadcast network will have a full season’s worth of Monday Night Football, putting the NFL in potentially more competition with WWE and RAW than in previous years.
