Following an earlier report, PWInsider has now confirmed that Kairi Sane was added to the WWE roster internally.
Back in August a report was made that Sane, who left WWE in December 2021 after her contract expired, was expected to return to the company.
Since her departure, Kairi competed in Japan across multiple promotions, most notably becoming the inaugural IWGP Women’s Champion at the NJPW/STARDOM Historic X-over show.
After losing the title to Mercedes Mone’ at NJPW Battle in the Valley 2023, Kairi turned her focus more squarely toward STARDOM, last competing in a six-woman tag team match at STARDOM Nagoya Golden Fight on 10/9.
