Prior to an NBA game between the Memphis Grizzlies and the Boston Celtics at the FedEx Forum, the Grizzlies mascot came out to hype the home crowd up with a tribute to The Undertaker.
Donning the WWE Hall of Famer’s iconic “Dead Man” gear, Grizz would continue the act with an attack on a turkey mascot that culminated in a tombstone piledriver before a set of ‘druids’ carried the turkey away.
While the skit did not improve the Grizzlies’ chances of winning the game (which ended 102-100 in favor of their opponents), it was a fitting tribute for not only Thanksgiving but the anniversary of The Undertaker’s WWE debut at the 1990 Survivor Series.
