CM Punk appeared on Friday Night’s WWE Tribute to the Troops SmackDown special, with an in-ring promo.
Punk noted during his promo that he has listened to SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis. Punk also said that he will show up this Monday at the Rocket Mortgage Arena in Cleveland, OH, which was the arena he was supposed to appear at for Raw before he walked out of the company in 2014. Punk further said he will also be talking to Shawn Michaels regarding NXT.
Also during his promo, Punk called out WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins and said that he (Punk) vows to main event WrestleMania 40.
In addition to Punk, also set for Monday night’s WWE Raw is Cody Rhodes vs. Shinsuke Nakamura and Drew McIntyre vs. Jey Uso.
