Rhea Ripley vacates Women’s World Championship due to injury

Rhea Ripley came out at the beginning of Monday’s WWE Raw, her right arm in a sling, and announced that she was vacating the Women’s World Championship due to injury.

Amidst chants of “Thank you, Mami” and “Bulls—” from the crowd, Ripley revealed that she would be on the bench for several months.

Ripley held the title for 380 days, most recently defending the championship against Becky Lynch at WrestleMania 40.

Several sources previously reported that Ripley injured her shoulder and arm during the backstage angle with Liv Morgan on last week’s Raw.

Wrestleview wishes Rhea Ripley all the best in her recovery.
