Gainesville restaurant responds to Ric Flair outburst

Ric Flair took to social media this week to lambast a restaurant in Gainesville, Florida for being asked to leave:

The Gainesville Sun has reported that the restaurant, Piesano’s Stone Fired Pizza, responded to this remark from the WWE Hall of Famer, with a statement from co-owner Jerry Roberts.

We have reviewed video of the incident that took place recently at our restaurant. It is clear, our team worked in a professional manner to ensure the safety of guests and staff. We have thanked our team for their professionalism. We are proud of how they responded to this situation using and displaying our team values.

According to the report, there are no plans for the video to be released as of time of writing.

Flair has had his share of concerns the past couple months, from expressing criticism for the upcoming Who Killed WCW? docuseries to revealing on the Jaxxon Podcast last month that doctors informed him of a heart attack he suffered, an incident he believes occurred during his last match in July 2022.
