Fightful Select and PWInsider have confirmed the departures of Malakai Black and Ricky Starks from AEW, in light of both names being removed from the company’s roster page.
The news comes after it was previously reported that Miro also left the company, months after the former TNT Champion requested his release.
Black’s contract was originally expected to run through at least 2027, as noted by Tony Khan in past interviews, but by January was no longer appearing on television.
The departure of Starks comes after he was reportedly blocked from appearing at multiple GCW events, despite not being utilized by AEW after they exercised the option to renew his contract in the spring of 2024.
Fightful Select further notes that all three men are now free agents and can sign anywhere immediately, with no non-compete clauses attached to their exits.
