Fightful Select is reporting that The Undertaker’s real-life wife Michelle McCool will be replacing Mickie James on the A&E WWE LFG (Legends & Future Greats) series.
The report notes that according to sources close to A&E’s production team, The Undertaker played a pivotal role in ensuring that his wife had a spot on the new reality series. It was also said that Undertaker’s continued involvement was only contingent on McCool was added as one of the trainers and coaches on the show. After A&E had made the decision to go ahead and bring in McCool in, this then led to the departure of James from the show.
McCool is set to be inducted into this year’s WWE Hall of Fame.
WWE LFG airs every Sunday night on A&E at 8:00 pm ET and has been already been renewed for a second season.
