Charlotte Flair says she is “just going to wrestle” in response to roast comments

WWE’s Charlotte Flair posted a tweet on Thursday seemingly responding to comments that others have made about her personal life. Flair said she is “just going to wrestle.”

In a verbal exchange which took place between Flair and current WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton back on the April 4 episode of WWE SmackDown, Stratton made reference to Flair’s three failed marriages in what was reported to be an off script promo.

During Sunday night’s WWE Roast of WrestleMania in Las Vegas the Fontainebleau Hotel, which was hosted by comedian Tony Hinchcliffe, former Women’s Champion took a verbal shot a Flair, which has been posted online. The audio from the entire roast, which was not broadcast, leaked online Wednesday night, but has since been removed.

Flair’s marriage to WWE’s Andrade ended sometime in 2024. However, it was not made public until earlier this year. During a recent episode of the Sherri Shepherd Show, Flair spoke about her divorce from Andrade.

After a botched move in her match against Asuka at the December 8, 2023 Tribute to the Troops SmackDown special, after landing awkwardly in the ring, Flair torn her ACL, MCL, and meniscus. She underwent surgery and was out of action for all of 2024. She made her return at the 2025 Royal Rumble back on February 1 in Indianapolis, winning the women’s Rumble Match and earning a title match opportunity. She failed to win the WWE Women’s Championship from Stratton at WrestleMania 41.
