WWE’s Chelsea Green is set to make her movie debut in the new horror film, ‘Red Wedding’, from Gulfstream Pictures. The movie also stars Lauren LaVera and Rory Culkin.
Deadline reports the film has started production in Birmingham, Alabama and is written by Josh Stolberg and Pete Goldfinger, who both collaborated on the Saw franchise.
Deadline also notes the film follows a teenager and her stepmother who are kidnapped and taken to a remote location as part of a ransom plot, soon discovering their captors are the least of their worries when a deadly bride and groom arrive and begin picking them off one by one.
No release date for the film was given at the time of Deadline’s report.
Green also stars in season two of Blue Ridge, which premieres July 19 on INSP TV. The show follows new sheriff, ex-Green Beret Justin Wise as he and his two deputies start investigating a murder in a town at the heart of the Blue Ridge mountains.
Green competed in the fatal four-way Queen of the Ring Quarterfinal Match on Monday’s Raw, coming up short and taking the pin from Liv Morgan.
