Former WWE star files trademark for new in-ring name; Pat McAfee to release music album next month

Former WWE star Zelina Vega filed on July 20, with the United States Patent and Trademark Office to trademark the name ‘Xelina.’

The trademark filing on the USPTO website is showing as LIVE under the serial number of 50002503.

IC 041: Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibits and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer; Providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; Providing sports information in the field of wrestling; Providing a website featuring entertainment information in the fields of sports; Providing entertainment information in the field of sports via online community portal; Event management services being organizing and conducting special events for social entertainment purposes; Providing on-line newsletters in the field of sports entertainment; Providing online, non-downloadable, short-form videos in the field of sports entertainment via social media websites.

Vega was released from her WWE contract this past April. Her real-life husband Aleister Black was also released just under a year after returning to the company, following a four-year run in AEW as Malakai Black.

Former WWE Raw and SmackDown color commentator Pat McAfee, took to social media to announce he is releasing a music album next month.

“The Diary of a Polarizing Figure” will release on August 14.

McAfee left WWE and pro wrestling following a storyline where he allied with Randy Orton against Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed Title at WrestleMania 42. McAfee publicly stated that following Orton’s loss, he was putting his pro wrestling career behind him, noting that he felt the business had passed him by.
