Fightful Select is reporting that “AEW and KAIRI have held talks, though a deal has not been completed.”
The report also notes there are several other promotions besides AEW interested in bringing in the former WWE talent. However, it was added that the Japanese promotion Marigold is not expected to be one of them that has interest.
KAIRI (Kairi Sane) was part of the WWE releases back on April 24. Her release was seen as a surprise to fans, especially, as she was in the midst of a storyline with Asuka and IYO SKY.
