During the most recent episode of TMZ Inside the Ring, Chris Jericho announced the November 7 episode of AEW Collision will be a live episode during his seventh annual Rock ‘N’ Wrestling Rager at Sea.
Collision will air directly from the Norwegian Jewel while the ship is docked before departing for Bimini.
“We are, for the first time ever, doing a live episode of ‘Collision’ from the boat itself,” Jericho told TMZ.
Jericho also told TMZ ensuring the broadcast could be done required figuring out the satellite connection, Wi-Fi, generators and thousands of feet of cable needed to produce a live show from a cruise ship.
“Lots of logistics, lots of bells and whistles, lots of things we had to figure out. But we made it work. And it’s the first time ever.”
Jericho further added that fans can expect an all-star lineup, because AEW stars appearing on Collision will already be on the ship.
“Whoever Tony [Khan] books that night for Collision will be on the boat. The cruise is going to start off with an actual all-star ‘Collision’ lineup.”
The cruise lineup already includes AEW stars Kofi and Austin Creed and Harley Cameron, TNA’s Jeff and Matt Hardy, WWE Hall of Famer Ted DiBiase, former WWE star Carlito, MLW’s Shotzi Blackheart, among others. The cruise will also is sett to feature Fozzy, Brad Williams, MicroMania, live podcasts, paranormal experiences and men’s and women’s Oceanic tournaments.
Furthermore, Jericho said this year’s cruise will pay tribute to PAC (real name Benjamin Satterley), who passed away last Sunday at the age of 40.
