Sports Illustrated has reported that TNA Wrestling has excerised their option to extend the contract of Josh Alexander.
The former World Champion’s contract now runs for the next year, ending February 14, 2025 per Fightful Select, before he becomes a free agent.
Alexander spoke to SI about Scott D’Amore’s departure from the company, stating his respect for the former TNA President and his desire to lead by example going forward.
“We have a locker room of like-minded people and we all have a chip on our shoulder. Those shows in Vegas [Hard To Kill and Snake Eyes] were so successful, and it’s tough to say we can be even more successful than we were under Scott, but I’m going to bust my a– trying.”
