The main event of AAA’s TripleMania XXXII in Monterrey saw Nic Nemeth and Alberto El Patron clash for the vacant AAA Mega Championship.
The title, vacated after 833 days due to previous champion El Hijo del Vikingo being injured last month, now rests in the hands of the man formerly known as Dolph Ziggler.
This marks the first reign with the title for Nemeth, who is also the IWGP Global Heavyweight Championship in the midst of a pay-per-appearance deal with TNA Wrestling.
