LAX says goodbye to Impact, Given send off at last night’s TV tapings in Mexico City

LAX given send off by Impact roster and fans in Mexico

At Friday night’s Impact television tapings in Mexico City, LAX (Santana and Ortiz) competed in their final match with the promotion.

After their match with Willie Mack and Rich Swann, the rest of the Impact stars from the locker room entered the ring and embraced LAX as the fans in attendance gave them a standing ovation.

After everyone cleared the ring, LAX posed with Konnan as the fans continued to cheer and applaud Santana and Ortiz.

LAX dropped the Impact World Tag Team Titles to The North at last month’s Bash at the Brewery live special event in Dallas with the reason believed to be due to LAX’s contracts expiring soon.

We had reported back in July that Santana and Ortiz’s contracts were set to expire sometime this month and that they have been given offers from WWE and AEW.

Twitter user @MendezArturo13 was in attendance at last night’s tapings in Mexico City and posted short video clips to Twitter of the LAX send off, which you can view below.

We are still looking for full spoilers from last night’s TV tapings in Mexico City.  If you were in attendance at last night television tapings and would like to send in a report, please send it to jerome@wrestleview.com.
