Update on lawsuit with Jeff Jarrett vs. Anthem Entertainment, settlement talks ordered

Jeff Jarrett/Anthem settlement talks

The ongoing saga with Jeff Jarrett and Anthem Sports & Entertainment appears to be coming to an end soon.

According to a report by PWInsider, United States District Court of The Middle District of Tennessee Chief Judge Waverly D. Crenshaw, Jr. ordered Jeff Jarrett and his representatives sit down with Anthem, the parent company of IMPACT Wrestling, to have settlement talks next month in lieu of a new trial being brought to the court.

Last month, Anthem and Jarrett went to a mistrial and a new trial was said to be in the works. Jarrett’s side, representing his defunct Global Wrestling Entertainment, asked for a date between September 1-10. Ed Nordholm of Anthem was unavailable and offered September 11.

We will continue to follow this story as more becomes available.
