Brodie Lee Jr and TNA’s John Skyler both did the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge to support AEW’s Rebel.
Brodie was nominated by Natalya and Cody Rhodes.
Brodie nominated Ricky Saints, Ariel Dominguez and Joey Janela.
TNA star John Skyler also did the challenge, nominating Mustafa Ali, Jason Hotch, Tasha Steelz and Mila Moore.
AEW will honor Rebel’s fight against ALS on September 9 with a special Rebel Heart episode of Dynamite from the Akins Ford Arena in Athens, Georgia.
The event will benefit I AM ALS and Team Gleason. Per AEW’s press release, Team Gleason is an organization founded by former New Orleans Saints player Steve Gleason that provides adventure, technology, equipment and care services to people living with ALS and countless others through advocacy, research, support and the goal of ultimately bringing an end to the disease.
Rebel (real name Tanea Brooks) announced back in April that she was diagnosed with ALS. She has been with AEW since 2019.
