Impact to air Best of 2017 Part 1 tonight on Pop TV

Impact Wrestling will air Part 1 of a Best of 2017 show tonight on Pop TV.

The company provided this preview of what will air later tonight.

“What a year it was! The changes that took place, the faces that emerged and the events that took place. We went to India for IMPACT India! LAX returned and Alberto El Patron made his debut and made instant headlines. We can’t wait to look back at this year tonight and next Thursday night. How about DeAngelo Williams at #Slamm15! Some of the moments that we will remember for a lifetime took place in 2017. Some things we would like to forget also took place in 2017, but the year will close with high expectations for 2018.”

Another long-time employee gone

Long-time employee David Sahadi was let go by Anthem last week as a producer and director according to a new report by The Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

Sahadi had been with the company for over 13 years now, joining back in 2004 after working full-time for WWE previously. He reportedly took five different pay cuts under previous regimes over the last decade and was owed a large sum of money when the company was sold to Anthem. Sahadi was described as a “real team player.”
