Layfield Energy presents IWF 12th Annual Reckless Abandon Weekend Anniversary Events:
I Quit Match & Ladder Match April 25-26 @ IWF CustomMuscle Centre, West Paterson, NJ

(WEST PATERSON, NJ)- Less talking…more wrestling! Feel the energy of live Independent Wrestling Federation action at the 12th Annual Reckless Abandon Anniversary Weekend live events this Saturday, April 25, 7:30 pm; and Sunday, April 26, 4 pm; at Layfield Energy Zone @ IWF CustomMuscle Centre, West Paterson, NJ. Here is a complete preview of the upcoming extravaganzas presented by CustomMuscle.com & MamajuanaExtreme.com & LayfieldEnergy.com & DrankBeverage.com.

Day one April 25th is the 380th IWF event and features a Triple Main Event. IWF Heavyweight Champion Hi-Definition Chris Steeler with Commissioner Rich Ross defends against former champion Kevin Knight in an “I Quit” Match. At February Fury, Steeler captured the title from Knight to become the first Grand Slam Winner in IWF History, having held all four championships. Knight regained top contender status with a win in “The Ross Rumble” at March Madness, but paid the price when The Ross Family beat him down after the victory as seen on Eruption. On April 25th, the first man to make his opponent say “I Quit” wins.

In an IWF American Title Ladder Match, challenger Dark Dragon Kareem West looks to end the reign of terror ruled by current champion and 2008 Tournament of Champions winner Damian Adams with Commissioner Rich Ross. On April 25th, the first man to climb the ladder and claim the belt over the ring wins. Can West step up to the final rung and take the American Title away from the grasp of Adams and Boss Ross?

One-half of the IWF Tag Team Champions, the 340-pound mastodon Franciz of The Ross Family, battles Stellar Travis Blake in a battle of former partners. Last year, they were tag team champions and captured the 2008 Commissioner’s Cup crown. After being cut loose by the rouge group several months ago, Blake looks at this opportunity to get even with his former family mate and prove he is better on his own.

Mad Dawg Jenkins looks to take a bite out of Dangerous Dan McGuire, one-half of the Tag Team Champions and newest member of The Ross Family. McGuire was responsible for eliminating Jenkins from “The Ross Rumble” last month and halting his championship dreams. Now, The Dangerous One must enter the Dawg Pound and face Jenkins one-on-one.

Fun-loving Biggie Biggs wages war with nemesis German Menace Kraig Stagg. Biggs exported Stagg out of “The Ross Rumble” last month. At Reckless Abandon, these behemoths battle nose-to-nose as Biggs looks to defend the honor of the USA.

IWF Wrestling School rookie Bright Lights Jarrett Foster, who made an impressive showing in “The Ross Rumble” and took the American Champion to the limit last month, tangles with Entrepreneur Evan Schwartz. Schwartz, jealous of Jarrett’s early success, now looks to dim the lights of the newcomer.

In an Intergender Tag Team Match April 25th, Chachi teams with IWF Junior Heavyweight Champion Jennifer to face rivals Street King Tony Torres and former Junior Champion Jana. There will be special raffles and door prizes as IWF celebrates its 12th annual anniversary events and our 380th live event.

Day two Sunday, April 26th also features a blockbuster Triple Main Event. IWF Tag Team Champions Franciz and Dangerous Dan McGuire of The Ross Family defend against Juicy Justin Corino and Stellar Travis Blake. Since their first encounter at March Madness ended in controversy, the championship committee has ordered this rematch as a Best 2-out-of-3-falls match.

In a title match, Hi-Definition Chris Steeler of The Ross Family takes on Dark Dragon Kareem West. Will Steeler survive the “I Quit” Match from the night before and enter as Heavyweight Champion, or will West be defending his newly won American Championship?

In another title bout, Kevin Knight battles Damian Adams of The Ross Family. Will Knight be the new Heavyweight Champion, or will Adams be American Champion?

The IWF Junior Heavyweight Title will be defended in a Triple Threat Elimination Match as champion Jennifer defends against Bright Lights Jarrett Foster and former Junior Champion International Nick Sabre. Sabre, back from college after being enrolled in the study-abroad program, is upset his title legacy has been tarnished by a woman.

In a tag team confrontation, Biggie Biggs and Mad Dawg Jenkins of Bigg Nutz look to settle the score once-and-for-all against German Menace Kraig Stagg and Entrepreneur Evan Schwartz of Foreign Affairs.

In singles action, IWF Wrestling School rookie Frankie Amantea meets former Heavyweight Champion Street King Tony Torres. There will be special raffles and door prizes as IWF celebrates its 12th annual anniversary events. For information or advance ticket purchases, visit www.WrestlingIWF.com.
