WWE & ECW Alumni The Iron Sheik & Snitsky & Balls Mahoney & The Patriot To Headline NWS “May-Day Mayhem” Weekend Twin Shows 5/1-5/2 In Carteret & Brick, NJ
NWS, in true never-stop fashion, will kick off the month of May with a “May-Day Mayhem” Weekend May 1st-2nd.

Friday night May 1st, NWS makes its annual return to Carteret, NJ’s Holy Family Parish Hall, 213 Pershing Avenue (just off Washington & Roosevelt Avenues, minutes from the NJ Turnpike), with a 7:45pm bell time. And the air conditioning better be working that night, as inside the hall things will certainly heat up, especially with two of the biggest bouts ever in the building taking place that night.

It will be chaos redefined when the likes of WWE and ECW veteran John “Balls” Mahoney battles the demented, brutish recent WWE RAW TV star Snitsky, where the loser of the bout will not only be shown the door, he will be put through one.
Another bout, just recently added, will have another WWE alumnus, no strang to Carteret, “America’s Hero” The Patriot, as he puts his coveted mask on the line against one-time WWE hopeful “Too Cocky” Kevin Matthews, who puts his own wrestling career on the line. If The Patriot loses, his mask comes off and his identity will be revealed to the wrestling world; however, if Matthews loses, he is gone from NWS forever (and forever is a very long time).
Also in Carteret, making their NWS debut, will be the dangerous Latin Outlawz, plus another dangerous tag-team in the form of Shock & Skitzo, and local favorite Cateret’s own Fireman Joe Davis. Tickets for this mega event are mega-affordable at only $17 for adults and $14 for kids & seniors.

Saturday night May 2nd, NWS returns to its always popular (and subsequently nearly always sold out) Ocean County venue, the Brick, NJ Elks Lodge, 2491 Hooper Avenue (just off Route 70, minutes from the Parkway), with a 7:35pm bell time.
Along with encore appearances by Balls Mahoney & Snitsky, here’s another match for the record books, as area native and former ECW brawler The Equalizer, considered by all to not be the most loved star in pro wrestling, unexpectedly turned the tables on his former allies in NWS by helping his one-time nemesis, former WWE & ECW star “America’s Hero” The Patriot, last month in Lacey Township. These former rivals, who waged some of the heaviest-hitting battles over the past year, have become best friends, and in Brick they will team up to battle two of the biggest men on the circuit today, Ryan Blackheart and Baghdad Bullies member Hasheem “Chemical” Ali, with a special stipulation added… there will be a special guest referee, none other than former WWE World Heavyweight Champion The Iron Sheik. All we can say is, “Wow!” And another match worthy of “wow” features the Ocean County debut of a pair of massive mysterious individuals known only as The Nigerian Nightmares. Those few who have seen them (and lived to tell about it) will back up the claim that they have to be seen to be believed. And speaking of tag-teams, the newly crowned NWS Tag-Team Champions Corvis Fear and Travis Blake will also see action in Brick. The Brick Elks Lodge has a history of selling out nearly every time, so don’t get left out. Tickets for this mega event are only $20 for adults and $18 for kids & seniors.
Tickets for both events are available by calling
the NWS box office at (732) 888-1704

All major credit cards are accepted, and group rates are available for groups of ten or more.
