The fastest growing wrestling promotion in the southeast once again invaded the National Guard Armory in Shallotte, NC with a red hot crowd and an action packed show when UPWA presented Spring Fling 2009 on April 11th. In the Main Event, Tito Rains defeated UPWA Heavyweight Championship The Destroyer via disqualification. As both men were brawling in the ring, The Destroyer threw an inadvertent elbow which stuck the official causing the DQ. After the match Donald Brower announced that at Military Mayhem in Wilmington on May 16th, Tito Rains would team with the returning co-star of ?The Wrestler? Andrew Anderson to take on the team of The Destroyer and NWA/WCW/WWE Legend, The Barbarian.

In other action, The Nigerian Nightmares defeated Adrian Bliss and the Amazing Velvet via pin fall. The duo once again looked impressive in the match and seemed poised to make some noise in the tag team division.

One team that may possibly rival them was the debuting Main Attraction who defeated the Southern Gangsters in an impressive match. Afterwards their manager Big Tony Cicero announced his team was gunning for the tag team champions, D.R.S., Inc.

Christopher Shane defeated Tony Mask via pin fall.

Beast defeated The Baltimore Bad Boy via pin fall in an impressive match.

Newcomer Truck defeated ?The Natural? Eric Evans via pin fall.

Carnage defeated K.G.B via pin fall.

UPWA heads to the Wilmington on May 16th with a day full of music and food headlined by an action packed card. For more information visit www.theupwa.com
