NWA World Title to be defended in Winnipeg

from Danny Duggan:

6/9- NWA World Title to be defended in Winnipeg.

NWA World Heavyweight Title Match
“Scrap Iron” Adam Pearce (Champion) vs. CWE Tag Team champion
“Hotshot” Danny Duggan

CWE’s Bad Karma on July 10th at the Maples Community Center will now
feature a double main event! Fans will not only be treated to the
highly anticipated ladder match between Kevy Chevy and Mentallo but
also a match with the most prestigious title in all of professional
wrestling being defended.

“Scrap Iron” Adam Pearce, the current NWA World Heavyweight champion
is a 3 time holder of the legendary title and will be making his CWE
debut on July 10th. Adam Pearce has brought a resurgence back to the
title after the NWA parted ways with TNA Wrestling, the company that
recognized the NWA World Title as their top prize for many of years.
Pearce has defended the title all over the world and will now add
Winnipeg to that list on July 10th.

Pearce has defended the title against some of the best the world has
to offer and now will be put to the test by truly one of Canada’s
elite in “Hotshot” Danny Duggan. Since returning from a torn MCL
Duggan has been unstoppable in 2010 rising to the occasion in
countless big matches this year against the likes of Yoshihiro Tajiri,
Gangrel, Big Vito, Shawn Daivari, Jimmy Jacobs among many others.

This match comes fresh off the heels of perhaps Duggan’s biggest
victory to date, becoming the first ever CWE Tag Team champions on May
21st with wrestling sensation Kenny Omega as his partner in a one
night tournament defeating the Daivari brothers. With Kenny Omega’s
stay in Japan being extended Duggan will have to rise to the occasion
on his own. With an ROH dark match under his belt this year, and
debuts for top American independents such as AAW in Chicago as well as
IWA Mid South, winning the NWA World Title in his hometown may very
well be the next step in a monumental year for Duggan.

Many NWA World Title matches are storied and are still talked about
for years after the fact, July 10th promises to be no different!
