Ron Simmons has confirmed that his match tomorrow night for Historic Purks International Championship Wrestling will be his retirement match.

Simmons will be doing a Q & A right after the show with the first 100 fans that request admission. Simmons has promised a no hold barred session in which he will answer any and all questions.

Simmons will be inducted into the Georgia Sports Hall of Fame as part of the class of 2010. The induction ceremony will be held February 20 in Macon.

Simmons and Christy Hemme both recorded interviews for Project 9-6-1, 96.1 FM in Atlanta. Hemme said she be involved in several ways during the Purks show tomorrow night.

Simmons also did an interview with WGAA 1340AM in Cedartown. WGAA will be streaming live from the Purks on Saturday night at wgaa.com.

Whatever her status with TNA happens to be, Awesome Kong is scheduled to be in Cedartown to take on Nigel Sherrod.

Jimmy Rave’s streak of hard luck continues. Having just recovered from tonsil surgery, Rave suffered a broken nose in a recent match and has not been cleared to wrestle tomorrow night.
