Murphy’s Inn
Cornwall, Ontario

Promo: MPW General Manager Nic Paterson introduces pro wrestling legend Rick “The Model” Martel to the ring and makes the announcement that Martel will be the special guest referee in the MPW Championship main event match between current Champion Pierre “The Beast” Vachon and “The Rage” Randy Berry. V:I:P’s music then hits and out comes The King of Cornwall “The Rage” Randy Berry and MTH to rain on The Model’s parade. The Rage wastes no time in verbally assaulting the legend and proceeds to maliciously attack Rick along with MTH. The arrogant (no pun intended) and sadistic duo manage to take out Martel’s left knee when they ring it around the ring post, not once but twice. Vachon and Canadian Justice run out to the fallen legend’s aid.

1st Match: “The Oddyssey” Alex D. defeated Joey Valentyne by submission

2nd Match: Robin Sane defeated Claude Prest by pinfall

3rd Match: Reggie Marley defeated Frank “The Natural” Couture by pinfall

(Before the match would begin, Nic Paterson would come out to permanently bar Eric Mastrocola (who accompanied Couture) and Couture from accompanying each other in their matches due to their uncontrollable outside interferences at “Damage Control”.)

4th Match: MTH defeated Canadian Justice by disqualification

(Referee Serge St-Denis would catch an elbow to the eye, giving “The Rage” Randy Berry (who was in MTH’s corner) a chance to grab a chair and go in for the kill. As soon as Randy entered the ring with the large steel weapon, Canadian Justice charged at him. In a moment of panic, Rage would toss the chair to Justice and high-tail it out of there, just in time for the ref to turn around and see him with the chair in hand and disqualifying Cornwall’s hometown hero.)

5th Match: “The Xperience” J.Q. Publik defeated “Tyrant” Eric Dawson by pinfall in a Falls Count Anywhere match

(In a jealous rage, Dawson viciously attacks J.Q. after the match and hangs him over the top rope with his bull rope.)

6th Match: FireStorm defeated “The Fabulous French Canadian” Eric Mastrocola by pinfall to become the #1 contender for the MPW World Championship

Main Event: Pierre “The Beast” Vachon defeated “The Rage” Randy Berry by pinfall to retain the MPW World Championship

(Before the match began, Nic Paterson announced that although Martel was in no shape to ref the match, he would be in the corner of Vachon. In the end, the ref gets wiped out and MTH proceeds to beatdown The Beast with a chair. Martel comes in and manages to get the chair away from MTH and attempts to put him in the famous Boston Crab. Rage sneaks up from behind and saves MTH from The Model’s clutches. Randy then picks up the chair and threatens to take out Rick. Canadian Justice then rushes to the ring and scoops the chair from The Rage and swings for the fences, decapitating The King of Cornwall, sending him down for the count. Martel would then top off the show by slapping The Rage in his patented Boston Crab.)
