CHIKARA: The annual Torneo Cibernetico hits Easton, PA on October 23rd!

16 combatants will be divided into 2 squads, and they will do battle in an elimination match unlike any other – it’s the Torneo Cibernetico…and it rolls into Easton in just under three weeks! On one side, captained by the mastermind of the Bruderschaft, Ares, will be a team representing the BDK. Opposite them, captain UltraMantis Black is assembling a team of the original generation of CHIKARA stars to help him wage war against these invaders. CCW (Classic Championship Wrestling) ROCKTOBERFEST inside the Tillsonbur, Ontario Grandstand
Attendance: 60-75
Referees: Casey Hale, and Red Disciple
Belltime: 2pm

Freak Show def. KC Andrews
– Fan fav Freak Show was in control of the bout, and his speed and “FreakFu” Martial Arts were too much for Andrews as he won with the Diamond Dust out of the turnbuckles.

Tyler Tirva retained the cup 3 falls to 1 over Sgt. Dickson
– Solid match, crowd behind Tirva. The Evil Sarge worked the legs and tried to keep the youngster grounded he managed to get 1 fall in his favor before losing 2 consecutive falls. One of the better OIW Dickson matches to date.

Charlie Haas def Cezar
– Haas was in tremendous shape, and really gave Cezar a lot here and made him look like gold. Haas won with the Haas of Pain Submission.

INTERMISSION- Photo ops with the Roster and Haas

Evilyn def Ianna Titus in a squash in under 5 mins with help from Reznor

Derek Wylde lost to Brock Barker
– MOTN rematch from Delhi. Wylde focused his attack on the neck, Barker hit a huge superplex and crossbody and won with a rollup off the ropes.

Notorious TID def Mr. Atlantis
– Atlantis was quick to strut his stuff, and tried to dominate the veteran TID with power. TID had too much ring awareness and got to the ropes several times. Atlantis focused his attack on the back with weak forearms and a sloppy bodyslam where he could barely lift TID. Atlantis went up top and set himself up for TID’s patented TAKING IT HOME (Muscle Buster) for the win.

Daemon Reznor w/Evilyn lost to Cody Deaner who retained the title

-Reznor cut a promo at the start saying he was going to end Deaner and take the title. Reznor kept using a 10 count to his advantage on the floor at the start not to eager to mix up with Deaner with lots of stalling. Deaner was easily the most over star of the afternoon with his Mr. DDT schtick which Reznor claimed he was the master of the pedigree. Deaner was frustrated that Reznor wouldn’t get in the ring which allowed for distraction and Reznor to gain the upperhand. After several attempts at the pedigree and interference from Evilyn where a regular female fan of CCW attacked Evilyn from the front row, the match broke down for a moment before Reznor tried to smash Deaner with the title and pedigree him on it. Deaner reversed gave him a backbody drop on the title and ddt for the win. After the match Evilyn & Reznor laid the boots to Deaner and vowed to take the title on Devil’s Night.

CCW returns to Tillsonburg on Oct.30th Devil’s Night show where Reznor will challenge Deaner for the title.
