Pro Wrestling Destination One Year Anniversary Show, September 17th, 2010, Neil Road Recreation Center, Reno Nevada

Promo: The “Dreamachine” Dustin Ardine came out to give PWD Champion Frank Lee Gorgeous an ultimatum. Gorgeous had skipped out of scheduled ladder matches two previous times, but he cannot back out next month at the October show. Back and forth insulting between the two. Ardine says he will have at least some revenge tonight, as Gorgeous’ manager, Funky Brewster, would be in the Reno Rumble tonight.

Match 1: Raider Mysterio def The Black Tiger via pinfall

Match 2: Vinny Poochinelli def Mimic and Mother Truckin Otis (c) via pinfall to become the NEW PWD Silver State Champion after Vinny pinned Mimic, causing Otis to chase him out of the arena.

Match 3: Buggy Nova def Vikki Vanity via pinfall to become the #1 contender for the PWD Women’s Championship

Match 4: “Money” Mike Rayne def Landon Ramos via pinfall

Match 5: Jesse Tycoon def Dinko “The Demented Clown” in a “Real Scares, Steel Chairs” match (the concept of this match was essentially a Texas Bull Rope match, but you hit your opponents head on a chair in the corner, rather than the corner itself).

Intermission: PWD wrestlers and staff came out to put roses around the ring for PWD’s CEO Tina Serrano to celebrate her hard work and dedication to the company. Raffle prizes were also given away.

Semi Main Event: The Prophet Izekiel eliminated “Rock Star” Johnny Vega to win the PWD Reno Rumble, guaranteeing him a shot at any title of his choosing, whenever, wherever.

Highlights of the match:
– Kassi flew off the top rope onto eliminated wrestlers
– Ocat was only in the ring for around 7 seconds
– Funky Brewster hid under the ring most of the night. Once he was put in the ring, all the participants ganged up on him for his elimination
– The Prophet Izekiel gave Rosie Rivet a vicious spear to cause her elimination

Main Event: PWD Tag Team Championship: Generation Me def The Ballard Brothers (c’s) via disqualification after one of the Ballards elbow dropped the referee.

Pro Wrestling Destination RETURNS to the Neil Road Rec Center on October 23rd, featuring WWF Attitude Era wrestlers Scotty 2 Hotty and Val Venis. 3rd time could be the charm as “The Dreamachine” Dustin Ardine gets his revenge of Frank Lee Gorgeous in the much anticipated ladder match for the PWD Championship. PWD will also be holding a Halloween costume contest, as well as raffling off tons of prizes to the fans in attendance.

123Approved.ca Open Rules Title Match
Open Rules Champion “Pimp Daddy” Rick Matthews vs. “Brickhouse” Paul Arcidi

The brand new 123Approved Open Rules title will be defended for the very first time this Friday night. Rick Matthews became the first champion last eliminating Paul Arcidi. Arcidi was a wrecking machine in the battle royal until Matthews blinded him with powder to the eyes and then throwing him over the top rope. With Arcidi being the last man to be eliminated he has been declared the first contender. Matthews and Arcidi have been developing quite the hatred for each other over the last few months so this will be a heated environment Friday night! As the title stipulates Paul Arcidi decides what kind of match the title will be defended in. Find out Friday night!

“Beautiful” Bobby Jay vs. “The Rebel” Bobby Collins

CWE debuts at Vince Leah Community Center this Friday night but it will be with a familiar face to the neighborhood! When wrestling was previously at Vince Leah Community Center “The Rebel” Bobby Collins was one of the most popular wrestlers in the community. On Friday night he returns to Vince Leah and debuts for CWE! CWE put out a call for wrestlers who wanted to be a part of the “shake up” and “The Rebel” has answered the call. In attempt to give new talent an opportunity Bobby Collins will go head to head with “Beautiful” Bobby Jay.

Bobby Jay is perhaps the most talked about man in CWE history with his unique look and wrestling abilities. People can say what they want about “The Beautiful One” but he has backed it up in the ring time and time again producing one of the most impressive win loss records in CWE. The flamboyant Bobby Jay is looking to roll in Friday night and roll out the winner!
