EXCLUSIVE BREAKING PTW GOSSIP AND NEWS :
* We are very sad to report, that the PTW 5 Star Title defence at the show, will in fact be Kevin Carter’s very last match, as he is hanging up his boots for good. All at the PTW Office are very saddened but understanding and supportive of Kevin’s decision to leave the business. We will always consider Kevin’s wrestling story, as the true embodiment of Power Trip Wrestling, the underdog who fought everyone who refused to believe in him, and still made his dream come true and proved the doubters wrong. Kevin will always be held in very high regard around Power Trip Wrestling, and his place is very much secure in PTW’s history. With all of this in mind, Kevin’s match has been moved by the PTW Office, to the main event of the evening’s show.
* Rumours have been swirling left right and centre on the internet, and beyond, about the personal health and wellbeing of P.T. Player. We do not want to go into much detail for legal reasons, but in order to clarify things to stop any unnecessary speculation, there was a very serious situation at the start of this week, and all we can say at this time is that P.T. himself, whilst not at full health; has decided late that he will be at the show, and with doctor’s clearance, will be looking to take his usual part in the show. We appreciate all contact that we have had in regards to this situation, and thank all of those around the wrestling business who have wished him well.
* But don’t let all the current news get in the way of the fact that we still have a PTW show to go ahead, and everyone knows the catchphrase around Power Trip Wrestling – “Anything you can do….we can do LOUDER!”. The matches for the show are listed below, and at this very emotional time around the company and the PTW Family itself, you can be sure that things at “Professional Wrestling’s Answer To Reality Television”, will be livelier than ever before, on Saturday 23rd April 2011, at Houghton Regis Leisure Centre, because this is PTW….and “This Ain’t Dollies And Teasets”!
