PWO TV #118 Online: Hammer Returns; LaBar Responds

PWO – Pro Wrestling Ohio – your televised pro wrestling alternative, with more guts, more desire, and more heart, from a young hungry roster competing to steal the show. Old school meets new age and tradition meets tomorrow, its pro wrestling the way you want it to be! It’s Cleveland-owned, nationally renowned!

Watch it online right now! –

TV Airdate: May 15, 2011

Scheduled for this week’s broadcast…

Special Appearance by Greg “The Hammer” Valentine
The legendary Hall of Famer and former PWO Tag Team Champion makes a special cameo in his first PWO TV appearance in nearly two years! What’s the Hammer been up to and what’s on his mind? Will he interact with any of PWO’s stars? Find out this week!

Justin LaBar Responds to Marion Fontaine
Last week, Marion Fontaine was scheduled to apologize for striking Justin LaBar several weeks ago (The striking can be seen here – – and the “apology” is here – As a result, of Fontaine’s comments in his “apology”, PWO has decided to give LaBar equal time, and will give him his first chance to sound off on Fontaine on PWO TV! Anything can happen as LaBar gets his first live mic in PWO just weeks after being embarrassed by Marion Fontaine.

“Embodiment of Evil” Krimson vs. “Handicapped Hero” Gregory Iron
Krimson has left a path of broken bodies and innocent victims over the past several weeks. After running Raven out of PWO, Krimson also used a noose to choke Matthew Justice unconscious center ring. Now, Krimson has chosen PWO’s “Crippled Crusader” as his next target. Word has it Krimson’s interest in Iron surrounds Greg being a former PWO titleholder. Krimson seems to be aiming his focus on capturing the PWO Title – not for the glory or prestige – but to possess and destroy everyone’s goals and dreams – and turn them all into empty bitter individuals just like he is. Gregory Iron is looking to get himself and The Homeless Handicapped Connection back in title contention – can he score a major upset here to get things rolling?

PWO TV Title – Bobby Beverly vs. Michael Façade – Both Teams Banned!
The Sex Appeal/Ninja Elite Squad rivalry has been among the most heated wars of the entire year in PWO, a rivalry that hit a new level a few weeks ago when Beverly defended his PWO TV Title against Michael Façade for the first time. Two weeks before that match, Façade actually pinned Beverly as part of a six-man tag, which is likely the reason Beverly had Sex Appeal close-by for their singles match. Despite Aeroform’s best efforts to rid the ring of Sex Appeal, Nicki Valentino snuck by and illegally aided Beverly to retaining the PWO TV Title. However, this week, both members of Sex Appeal AND Aeroform are banned from ringside entirely, ensuring a one-on-one affair between champion and challenger. Will we crown a new PWO TV Champion or can Beverly prove his worth in a one-on-one environment?

“Amazing” N8 Mattson vs. Ben Fruith
The Sons of Michigan’s attempts to torture and punish their ex-lackey Ben Fruith continues as it is N8 Mattson who has signed on to face PWO’s “Gullible, Loveable Loser” just a couple of weeks following Fruith’s one-sided defeat to Mattson’s partner “Big Bear” Benjamin Boone. Will the PWO Tag Champions continue to embarrass Fruith? Will Gregory Iron & Hobo Joe’s attempts at instilling confidence in Fruith pay off? They’ll have another shot to reach through to him before this match!

Plus: Comments from Matthew Justice, Aeroform and more!

All this plus MORE!

SAT 11 JUNE, 2011

The Rotary Club of Eaglehawk has embarked on an innovative and adventurous project to raise funds for the R.O.S.E program and other youth projects. On Saturday June 11 nine international wrestlers, many of whom have worked on WWE, will stage an event at the Bendigo Exhibition Centre before an estimated 2000 people. The seven bouts will feature U-Gene, Paul London, Jimmy Yang, Ironman Rob Conway and “Serena” the Straight Edge Diva. It will also include some outstanding young Australian wrestlers with international aspirations. Although they will have only one show in Australia the wrestlers will take part in a range of public and promotional activities, especially with schools and young people in Bendigo.

Immediate Past President and New Generations Director, John Jones, stated that, “While Eaglehawk Rotary is really good at the hands-on projects, especially with local activities, barbecues and work parties to Timor Leste and so on, fundraising has always presented a challenge. This project has the potential to generate the funds we need to support our local and international projects. It is a really unique opportunity for Bendigo as, for these internationally acclaimed wrestlers, this is their first and only opportunity to entertain outside capital cities. We look forward to support from our local and regional communities.”

Tickets for the event are now available from Bendigo Cinemas.
