CHRIS WYLDE PREPARES FOR THE BIGGEST MATCH OF HIS LIFE

“Heart Killer” Chris Wylde is working overtime to prepare for his title match with ECWA Heavyweight Champion “GREEK GOD” Papadon on July 16th. He is working twice as hard in the gym, studying video of the champ, and taking a slew of top notch opponents to get ready, including Damian Dragon, Carlito, Christian York and Sonjay Dutt. Chris is also going to be visiting a close personal friend of his soon to talk strategy, someone who is a mastermind and a legend in this business, someone who knows what it takes to be a champion, in fact, a WORLD CHAMPION! You better be there on July 16th, Papadon vs. Wylde for the oldest championship in independent pro wrestling, the ECWA Heavyweight Title!!!

BAZOOKA JOE IS COUNTING THE DAYS

In less than one month, on July 16th in Newark, Delaware, Bazooka Joe gets his chance. IF Bazooka Joe can defeat CZW’s “Chainsaw” Joe Gacy in July, then he will get DJ Hyde in the ring at the following ECWA event.

Since Hyde was named Commissioner on March 5th, he has screwed MEGA out of the ECWA Heavyweight Championship and he has also screwed Bazooka Joe in his title shot against “GREEK GOD” Papadon on May 7th. The stipulation for the May 7th match that Hyde made was that it would be Joe’s ONLY title shot against Papadon. Hyde made sure that Joe failed by bringing in a CZW referee, Drew Blood, who called a questionable disqualification on Joe allowing Papadon to retain.

Bazooka Joe, with his title aspirations on hold due to the stipulation implemented by Hyde, is now focusing his complete attention on DJ Hyde. But to get to Hyde, Bazooka Joe must defeat a very unpredictable “Chainsaw” Joe Gacy. Gacy is one tough customer and should not be overlooked or underestimated. He has the size, power, skill and most importantly, mean streak, to derail Joe’s plan for revenge.

Bazooka Joe will definitely have the fans on his side and they would LOVE to see DJ Hyde finally get his comeuppance in September inside the ring!

KEKOA ON HIS MATCH WITH ADAM COLE JULY 16

Kekoa the Flyin’ Hawaiian, one of the ECWA’s newest roster members, is quickly becoming one of it’s most popular wrestlers! Having recently appeared on WWE RAW in May and also featured in Pro Wrestling Illustrated (PWI) Magazine this summer, Kekoa is having a great year so far. Now, Kekoa is on his way to forging his legacy in the ECWA, but he will have to defeat Adam Cole on July 16th to move forward! Among all of Cole’s accolades, the one most familiar to ECWA fans was his performance at the Super 8 on April 30th. Cole went through two of the very best in the world, Sami Callihan and Austin Aries, before being defeated by Tommaso Ciampa in the finals, which was also a very competitive and evenly contested match.

Other Upcoming Shows

Saturday night July 16th, NWS returns to the Dunellen, NJ Knights Of Columbus Hall (647 Grove Street, just off Washington Avenue & Route 28) for the 2011 Captain Lou Albano Memorial J-Cup Tag-Team Tournament, with a 7:35pm bell time.
The late Captain Lou, a WWE Hall-of-Fame manager and movie star, was a good friend to NWS and made many colorful appearances with them in the last years of his life. As Lou’s biggest claim to fame in the WWE was managing championship tag-teams, NWS has decided to rename one of the biggest tag-team events in pro wrestling, the annual J-Cup Tag-Team Tournament, in his honor.
Eight of the best tag-teams on the circuit today will compete in a one-night single elimination tournament, with the winning team getting the coveted trophy, bragging rights, and being in line for a tag-team title shot. This year’s field includes the NWS Tag-Team Champions The Jersey Shore Jocks, previous winners Team Supreme, and other great pairings. There will also be a special appearance by another WWE Hall-of-Fame alumnus, and a former tag-team champion himself, the great Nikolai Volkoff.
Tickets are a great summer bargain at only $19 for adults and $17 for kids and seniors. You can view the video about upcoming shows at

Tickets for all upcoming shows are available by calling the NWS box office at (732) 888-1704. All major charge cards are accepted, and group rates are available for groups of ten or more.
