Pro Wrestling Invading Southeast Alabama Next 2 Weeks
For the next two weeks southeast Alabama will be hosting Pro Wrestling events on back to back weeks in both New Brockton and Ozark, Alabama. The full rundown of both events are below.
IPW “Hostile Takeover”

New Brockton, Alabama (Old National Guard Armory)
This Saturday Impact Pro Wrestling returns to the Old National Guard Armory in New Brockton, Alabama for the “Hostile Takeover” event featuring 3 Title Matches, the appearances of 2 members of the legendary Armstrong Family, and a “big announcement on a huge star” coming to IPW. Headlining the event will be a special Legends Tag Team Match as WWE Hall of Famer “Bullet” Bob Armstrong teams with his son: former WWE and TNA Tag Team Champion “Road Dogg” BG James to face off against the Gulf Coast legendary Swat Team (Cobra & Trooper).
IPW Heavyweight Champion Cameron Frost defends his title against the 2011 IPW Super Cup Winner Brian Cage and Initial Shock (DJ Durst & Xtreme-G) defending the IPW Tag Team Titles against The Smash Mouth Kings (Jon Ryker & Michael DeSade) who won a Tag Team Gauntlet back in May to earn the shot. Also, the IPW Fusion Champion Chuck N Dales defends his belt for the first time against former champion Mike Freska (with the gorgeous “Busti” Becki Kennedi at ringside).
Also scheduled to compete are “The Human Highligh Film” Scotty Rayz, The Old School Outlawz (David Prime & Joshua Brewer), Michael “Roll Tide” Enfinger, Lane Smart, Craig Craven. Also, the new IPW Commissioner Dandy Jack and Ring Announcer B-Smoove will be in attendance.
Doors open at 6:30 pm and Belltime is at 7:30, tickets are only $7.

EliteCW “Salute To The Troops”

Ozark, Alabama (Ozark Civic Center)
The following week Elite Championship Wrestling makes it’s return from the Ozark Civic Center in Ozark, Alabama with a special event called “Salute To The Troops” (part of the proceeds of the show will go to the “Wounded Warrior Project”) featuring a slew of former WWE, WCW, and TNA stars as well as Gulf Coast stars.
Headlining the event will be the multi-time WWE Tag Team Champion and legendary team The New Age Outlaws (Road Dogg & Billy Gunn) getting a shot at the NWA World Tag Team Championships when they face off against The Usual Suspects (Murder-1 & AJ Steel). Murder-1 of The Usual Suspects recently appeared at the Urban Wrestling Federation’s debut PPV taping.

Former WWE, TNA, and WCW star and cruiserweight pioneer X-Pac was scheduled to face off against former TNA star David Young in one-on-one action but unfortunately X-Pac will NOT be competing on this event. Replacing him will be former WWE and more recently TNA star Stevie Richards (who is currently working for Lucha Libre-USA as well)!
Also, former WCW stars collide when former ECW & TNA Heavyweight Champion Raven faces off against Buff Bagwell! Former TNA star (who just recently appeared on Impact Wrestling in a 3-Way against Austin Aries & Kid Kash) Jimmy Rave will face Corey hollis and former WWE star Eugene will face Michael Steele. Others scheduled to compete are rapper 4Saken, Mike Posey, Kyle Mathews, Street Bandit, Jason Hero, & Aeon Flexx. The full card is below.

Tickets are currently on sale at both the Ozark Civic Center Box Office and Enterprise Chevrolet in Enterprise, Alabama. Ringside seats are $25, lower level seats are $15, and upper level are $10. Belltime is at 8:00 p.m. on July 9th at the Ozark Civic Center.
