AWE sent this in.

‘Discipline’ for Nash, Funk following PPV

A source in the front office confirmed the disciplinary actions taken against Nash, who walked out of his main-event match against Ricky Morton at Night of Legends, and Funk, who physically attacked referee Dale Robinson after Robinson counted Funk out with a quick 1-2-3.

The source declined to go into specifics as to what specific actions were taken against the superstars.

It was also reported that Robinson will be suspended from in-ring duties for 60 days after a videotape review of the Funk-Dreamer match indicated that Funk was counted out improperly.

There was no word if the discipline from the front office for Nash and Funk included suspensions.

Nash’s future with the company is up in the air following the walkout at the end of his match with Morton, who won by countout after Nash left the ring upon delivering his finisher, a powerbomb, to Morton.

Funk, according to the source, is very much in AWE’s post-pay-per-view plans as the company readies for a rumored weekly-TV debut in 2012.

AWE has meted out undisclosed “discipline” to Kevin Nash and Terry Funk for actions at the end of their matches on the AWE Night of Legends pay-per-view.
