CHIKARA “A Death Worse Than Fate” Results 2/25/2012 Reading, PA by Jason Namako
1. Ophidian defeated Green Ant by submission with the Cobra Grip after dropping Ant throat first across an exposed turnbuckle.
2. Saturyne defeated El Hijo del Ice Cream by pinfall.
3. The Throwbacks(Dasher Hatfield & Mr. Touchdown) defeated The Colony(Fire & Soldier Ant) by disqualifaction when Green Ant ran in and attacked Hatfield.
4. “The Big Rig” Brodie Lee defeated Jigsaw by pinfall with a sit-out powerbomb.
After the match, Lee motioned that he is coming for Eddie Kingston’s Grand Championship.
Intermission
During intermission, CHIKARA’s Director of Fun Wink Vasseur came out and said that because Johnny Gargano of F.I.S.T. could not make the show, Icarus would take his place in the main event.
5. Colt “Boom Boom” Cabana defeated Kobald by submission with the Billy Goat’s Curse.
6. 8-Man Tag: The BDK(Tim Donst & Jakob Hammermeier) & The Batiri(Kodama & Obariyon) defeated Greg Iron, 3.0(Scott Parker & Shane Matthews) & CHIKARA Grand Champion “The War King” Eddie Kingston by submission when Donst submitted Iron.
7. “The Queen of Wrestling” Sara Del Rey defeated Archibald Peck w/Veronica by pinfall with the Royal Butterfly.
8. Main Event for the CHIKARA Campeones de Parejas: F.I.S.T(Icarus & Chuck Taylor) defeated The Spectral Envoy(Ultramantis Black & Hallowicked) 2 falls to 1 to retain the titles.
F.I.S.T. won the 1st fall when Icarus threw powder in Hallowicked’s eyes and rolled him up.
Spectral Envoy got the 2nd fall when Hallowicked pinned Icarus with a big boot.
F.I.S.T then got the 3rd and deciding fall when Delirious ran in, seeming to help out the Spectral Envoy, but instead attacked Ultramantis Black allowing Icarus to get the pinfall.
