New Hampshire is about to get exposed to The NATIONAL WRESTLING ALLIANCE as CAC Members Cathy Pike (MISTRESS BELMONT) and Jeff Costa (BRUISER COSTA) aka Lobsterman have joined the longest Running Promotional Body in Wrestling History. Belmont and Costa are working in association with NWA LIBERTY STATES. They actually have a Men’s Promotion RINGSPORT and an all Girl’s Promotion IRON GIRLS.
Costa who for years partnered with CAC Board member Bishop Jason Sanderson (THE WOLFMAN) to run NH’s longest running Pro Wrestling Promotion the ALL-STAR WRESTLING ASSOCIATION or the AWA. While that version of the AWA was a re-birth of the Paul Bowser based AWA which ran events in NH in the 1940’s and 50’s the NWA in New Hampshire will continue to carry traditions of the Governing Body.
The First Champions of the promotion are NWA New England Ringsport Champion former WWE,TNA,NJPW and ROH star ANTONIO “The Promise” THOMAS who was a regular on WWE RAW as a member of “THE HEART THROBS”. On the ladies side MISTRESS BELMONT defeated MALIA HOSAKA (former NWA Women’sWorld Champion) in the finals of the IRON GIRLS Tournament that also included Internatioanl star NIKKI ROX.
Bruiser Costa is a Former NWA Canadian Heavyweight Champion, NWA Canadian Tag Team Champion 2 times, as well as the Prestigious NWA INTERNATIONAL Tag team Champion 2 times. Being part of the NWA again is like a homecoming for Costa who is in his 3rd decade as an active Pro Wrestler.
Costa and Belmont are very happy to share this information with all CAC Members and urge anyone in the New England area especially NH to come out and see one of the events whether a Men’s show or the very Popular all girls IRON GIRLS events.
It looks like OLD SCHOOL, IS STILL COOL in New Hampshire as these very proud CAC Members continue some great traditions. Keep an eye on Bruiser Costa and Mistress Belmont keeping tradition alive.
