The fastest growing wrestling promotion in the southeast returned to the National Guard Armory in Wilmington, NC with an action packed show when UPWA rolled into town on October 10th with Halloween Havok 2009.

It was near standing room only as the town turned out to support the UPWA in Wilmington.

In the Double Main Event of the show, first Djinn defeated UPWA Carolinas Champion Beast in a no disqualification match to win the title. Both men fought tooth and nail hitting each other with bone crunching move after bone crunching move. After nearly 30 minutes of mat action, Donald Brower ran out and hit Beast with a chair. Beast tried to attack Brower and was assaulted by Djinn who hit his chokeslam powerbomb to pick up the victory. After the win, Brower announced Donald Brower Enterprises was no more and it its place stood the Brower Empire with Djinn as the first member.

In the other Main Event, Aerial Assassins defeated B.D. Productions to win the 2nd Annual John J. Iradi Memorial Tag Team Tournament.

Cold Cash D defeated Christopher Shane in a UPWA Heavyweight Title Tournament Quarterfinals Match. After his loss, Donald Brower came out and started to console Shane before viciously turning on him and firing him from Donald Brower Enterprises.

LA Tank defeated Eric Evans in a back and forth match. Tank advances in the UPWA Heavyweight Title Tournament as his original opponent Amazing Velvet was injured and unable to compete.

B,D, Productions defeated the All American Athletes in John J. Iradi Memorial Tag Team Tournament semifinal action.

Aerial Assassins defeated Swagger Inc in John J. Iradi Memorial Tag Team Tournament semifinal action.

Tiger Blue vs John Beasley was a no contest as Djinn attacked both men. He brutally attacked Beasley until his father the Beast agreed to make the main event No-DQ.

All-American Athletes defeated the Sharp Dressed Men John J. Iradi Memorial Tag Team Tournament first round action.

In the opening contest, Swagger Inc def Tavare Hill/RJ Morgan in John J. Iradi Memorial Tag Team Tournament first round action.

UPWA heads to the Shallotte Armory on November 14th with an action packed card headlined by The Amazing Velvet defending the Cruiserweight Title and the semifinals of the UPWA Heavyweight Title Tournament. For more information visit www.theupwa.com
